A new Princeton University study shows there have been riots associated with the Black Lives Matter movement in 48 out of 50 major US cities, and 74 out of 100 of the largest US cities by population, since the police killing of George Floyd on May 25. The study titled “Demonstrations and Political Violence in America,” also found that in over 93% of all demonstrations connected to the BLM movement during the same period, protestors did not engage in violence or destruction of property.

At least 500 Christians murdered in last two months in Ethiopia

At least 500 Christians have been slaughtered, and thousands traumatized and displaced, in the last two months in Ethiopia’s Oromia state, the Christian Post reports. It is believed that those responsible for the recent door-to-door attacks and killings are members of a youth movement of Muslim men from the ethnic Oromo population.

Black pastors say Nike must stop supporting BLM and must cut ties with China over Uyghur minority oppression

A coalition of several hundred pastors and clergy of color sent a letter to the CEO and President of sportswear giant Nike Thursday, demanding he stop the company’s support for the “anti-Christian” Black Lives Matter movement and sever Nike’s ties with China and Chinese oppression of the Uyghur minority population, PJ Media reports. In their letter to John Donahoe, the coalition called Conservative Clergy of Color said: “We have watched with sadness and frustration as the country we love has been torn apart by violence and looting. You have been happy to play into the hands of anarchists at home and ignore slavery abroad.”

Federal agencies launch investigation into “left-wing” unrest in Democrat-run cities

President Donald Trump announced Monday that the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Justice are starting a joint investigation into what the president called “left-wing civil unrest” in “Democrat-run cities,” VOA News reports. Trump added that over 200 people have now been arrested by federal agencies, including 100 in Portland, Oregon alone.
