Trump Raises $7.1 Million With Mugshot

WASHINGTON (Worthy News) – The presidential campaign of Donald J. Trump, the first former U.S. president to have a mugshot taken, says he has raised $7.1 million after being booked at Fulton County jail in the state of Georgia.
The spike in fundraising was linked to Trump’s decision to sell merchandise featuring his surrender at Atlanta’s Fulton County Jail. T-shirts, mugs, and posters featuring the mugshot read “Never Surrender.”
Thursday’s detention was the first time Trump was required to submit a mugshot.
The former president was indicted twice in three weeks, starting with an indictment in Washington, D.C., for his alleged role in the deadly Capitol riot.
He also faces two other criminal indictments in New York and Florida.
In Georgia, he faces charges of trying to overturn his declared 2020 election loss in the state. Trump was to return later to enter a plea in court after his bail was set at $200,000.
He denies 13 charges, including racketeering and false statements, and says the charges are politically motivated.
Last week, his former lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, and other co-defendants surrendered in the same case. This is Trump’s fourth criminal case as he runs for election again in 2024.
