(Worthy News) – A Christian prisoner remains ill while Iranian officials refuse to transfer her to a hospital to receive the required medical care.
According to Mohabat News, Maryam Naghash Zargaran has been suffering from nausea and pain. But the only clinical advice she received from the medical staff in Evin Prison was not to move her head for two weeks.
Zargaran had undergone heart surgery nine years ago that still requires frequent medical attention.
Zargaran was initially summoned to an Iranian intelligence office for interrogation in March 2011 where she was threatened concerning her Christian activities.
