WASHINGTON, D.C. (Worthy News)– Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson will address the Republican Leadership Conference in New Orleans on Thursday.
Robertson, patriarch of the family behind the Duck Dynasty, was temporarily suspended last year from the reality TV show after making “controversial” comments on homosexuality in a magazine interview.
The network later reinstated him to the show after a public outcry.
Robertson defended his controversial comments on homosexuality, giving a church sermon in which he ridiculed media coverage and others “blurring” the lines between “sinners” and homosexuals.
Senator Ten Cruz, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, and Texas Gov. Rick Perry, both White House candidates, will speak also address conservative activists at the conference.
