(Worthy News) – Israeli citizens were shocked when Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Friday recounted the horrific events leading to the deaths of Ariel Bibas, aged 4, and Kfir Bibas, aged 1. Their bodies were returned to Israel on Thursday without their mother.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the nation in a speech, marking a day of profound grief and unrelenting sorrow for Israel. “Today is a tragic day, it’s a day of boundless sorrow, of indescribable pain. Four-year-old Ariel Bibas, his baby brother one-year-old Kfir and 84-year-old Oded Lifshitz were brutally murdered by Hamas savages,” he stated, visibly moved by the gravity of the events.
Netanyahu recounted the somber return of their bodies to a mourning nation, emphasizing the collective memory and resolve of Israel. “Their bodies return home to a nation in mourning. A nation that will never forget and never forgive the evil that cut down these beautiful souls.”
He reflected on the harrowing events of October 7th when Hamas militants killed 1,200 Israelis, describing the anxious wait and hope for the survival of hostages taken by Hamas. Despite the despair, some hostages were brought home, though not all could be saved. The Bibas children, Netanyahu noted, symbolized the innocent victims of this brutal conflict.
Netanyahu then shared a heart-wrenching image of the Bibas brothers, urging people to imagine the terror they faced. “Here is a photo of the Bibas brothers. These perfect children, again, were four years old and less than one year old when the Hamas savages snatched them from their mother’s arms. She fought like a lioness to protect her boys. Just imagine their horror. Imagine their confusion. Perfect little children who never hurt a soul.”
He fiercely condemned the atrocities, declaring that the perpetrators do not deserve to live freely. “A baby, for the love of G-d. They languished in captivity until Hamas murdered them in cold blood. Who kidnaps a little boy and a baby and murders them? Monsters. That’s who.”
In a stark warning, Netanyahu called for global condemnation and action, stating, “Today the heavens shake. The entire civilized world should condemn these horrific murders. The entire civilized world should join Israel in demanding the immediate release of all the hostages. All of Israel is united in grief.”
Concluding his speech, Netanyahu vowed relentless pursuit of justice for the victims. “And as the Prime Minister of Israel, I vow that I will not rest until the savages who executed our hostages are brought to justice. They do not deserve to walk this earth. Nothing will stop me. Nothing.”
He closed with a somber tribute to the lost lives, dedicating their memory to the fight against terror. “Ariel, Kfir and Oded: I am so sorry we couldn’t save you from the monsters who did this. We honor your kind and loving souls, so tragically cut down by evil terror. May your memories forever be a blessing and a reminder to all of us that we must fight this evil and eradicate it from the face of this earth.”
