(Worthy News) – Amid a surge of reports that revival is taking place on US college campuses, Christian author and founder of IF:Gathering Jennie Allen announced Friday that Florida State University (FSU) saw up to a thousand students going forward to put their faith in Christ during a free worship event the evening before, CBN News reports.

The Feb. 15 event was led by Pastor Jonathan Pokluda of Harris Creek Baptist Church in Waco, Texas, and Allen was a featured speaker.

Noting that FSU in Tallahassee, Florida is one of America’s biggest “party schools,” Allen said in comments on Facebook and Instagram that she believed the Holy Spirit was at work as students had congregated around the university’s Westcott fountain and were singing and praising God and getting baptized as well. the result of a free worship event titled Unite FSU that was held on Thursday, Feb. 15 at the university’s Donald L. Tucker Civic Center.

“It’s happening again! FSU Baptisms! Hundreds, maybe a thousand students came forward to trust Jesus. We can’t explain what’s happening apart from the Spirit,” Allen wrote. “4,500 Florida State University (one of the biggest party schools in the nation) students confessed struggles and sin tonight. Hundreds came forward to trust Christ. And this is them singing and dancing as they head to spontaneous baptisms,” Allen said, adding a video clip of what was happening.

Finally, Allen wrote: “God keeps doing it!! They confessed their sin. They came forward in droves tonight to trust Jesus. We baptized hundreds in a fountain usually used for partying and worse. And it’s all just the beginning. It literally is everywhere I go right now. Revival is here. And there is no explaining it – when it’s God! #FSU #baptisms.”
