McDonald’s Attacked With Rats By Suspected Hamas Supporters

BIRMINGHAM/LONDON (Worthy News) – A second McDonald’s restaurant in Birmingham was hit with a rodent infestation Tuesday, just one day after dozens of rats were let loose in another outlet over the chain’s “support for Israel,” footage showed.
A video posted online on Tuesday revealed a struggling McDonald’s worker trying to trap dozens of mice underneath a plastic box at a branch in Perry Bar, Birmingham, Britain’s second-largest city.
It comes after a video posted online by suspected Hamas supporters showed a man with a ‘Free Palestine’ number plate pulling up outside of a McDonald’s in Star City, also in Birmingham, carrying boxes filled with rats.
In Monday’s video, the man appeared to be wearing a Palestine flag on his head as he walked into the McDonald’s.
He then showed a group of children the rodents, painted in the colors of the Palestinian flag, before throwing them onto the floor towards two women who reacted in shock.
The man could be heard chanting expletives such as “Free f**king Palestine” and “F**k Israel.”
Backed by Arabic music, the activists also called for boycotts of McDonald’s as well as coffee giant Starbucks and entertainment company Disney.
SUCCESSFUL MISSION
At the end of the video clip on the social media platform TikTok, the activist stepped into a waiting car and told another person identified as Jay B. on standby on this cellphone: “The doors are closed, successful mission.”
The bizarre incident was reportedly sparked by McDonald’s branch’s decision to donate free meals to the Israel Defence Forces (IDF).
The IDF are involved in what Israel views as a war against Hamas, which it designated as a terrorist organization that on October 7 killed 1,400 people in Israel.
McDonald’s received condemnation from individuals identifying as “anti-Zionists” on various social media platforms.
The attacks against McDonald’s come amid British government concerns about reported violence used by at least some pro-Palestine protesters and growing antisemitism in the country.
Over the weekend, tens of thousands of people demonstrated against Israel in London and other cities, with many shouting, “From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be free!”
The government and Jewish groups see the slogan as calling for the destruction of Israel and Jews.
