Israel may carry out military strike if Iran enriches uranium beyond 60%

(Worthy News) – Israel has warned the US and other world powers that it may carry out a military strike in Iran if the rogue Tehran regime enriches uranium to above 60%, the Axios news outlet reports exclusively. According to a report by the UN’s International Atomic Energy Agency, Iran had produced 87.5 kilograms of 60% enriched uranium by late last month.
While experts have stated that uranium needs to be enriched to 90% for at least one nuclear bomb, a senior Israeli official told Axios journalist Barak Ravid that Israel did not want to publicly set that level as a “red line” in case Tehran took it that lower levels were acceptable.
“That is why Israel is telling U.S. and European countries that any Iranian progress above 60% enrichment would be a step that could trigger military action against Tehran’s nuclear program,” Ravid said the Israel official told him.
Concerned at the Iranian regime’s advancement toward weapons-grade enrichment of uranium, Israel has been liaising with the US in regard to military equipment it would need for an attack in the country, Ravid said in his report. “Two Israeli officials said Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant asked US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin during his recent visit to Israel to expedite the delivery of the four KC-46 tankers that Israel had purchased from the US last year,” Ravid said.
“The officials said Israel needs the tankers, which are used for air refueling, to prepare for a possible military strike in Iran. Israel wants to get at least some of them by the end of 2024,” Ravid said.
