DeSantis Sends Two Flights Of Illegal Migrants To Martha’s Vineyard
(Worthy News) – Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis sent two planes of illegal migrants to Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, on Wednesday, according to Fox News.
“Yes, Florida can confirm the two planes with illegal immigrants that arrived in Martha’s Vineyard today were part of the state’s relocation program to transport illegal immigrants to sanctuary destinations,” Desantis’ communications director, Taryn Fenske, told Fox News Digital.
The move follows similar actions taken by Republican Govs. Greg Abbott of Texas and Doug Ducey of Arizona, who are both busing illegal migrants from the border to Democratic cities. [ Source (Read More…) ]
CNN Host & Ken Burns Compare DeSantis Sending Migrants To Martha’s Vineyard To The Holocaust
CNN’s John Berman and filmmaker Ken Burns compared Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ decision to ship migrants to Martha’s Vineyard to the Holocaust.
Berman and Burns were discussing Burns’ new documentary,”The U.S. and the Holocaust,” which is set to be released Sunday, before Berman turned the conversation toward DeSantis.
“We woke up to the news this morning that Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida sent two plane loads of migrants to Martha’s Vineyard off the coast of Massachusetts, including kids and whatnot. This is not a one for one, this is not a parallel here in any way, but it does address some of the same themes that are part of this documentary,” Berman said. [ Source (Read More…) ]
White House says governors sending migrants to DC, Martha’s Vineyard ‘disrespectful to humanity’
The White House on Thursday bashed Republican governors for sending migrants to Democratic-run cities such as Martha’s Vineyard, Mass., and Washington, D.C., in an attempt to make a point about immigration policy.
“It’s really just disrespectful to humanity. It is — it doesn’t afford them any dignity, what they’re doing, when you’re abandoning families and children in a place where they were told they were going to get housing, in a place where they were told they were going to get jobs,” White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said. “It is just cruel.” [ Source: Daily Caller (Read More…) ]
