Christian parents group urges Disney to cancel “Little Demon” show

(Worthy News) – The One Million Moms (OMM) Christian group has started a website petition requesting that Disney cancel its FFX animated series Little Demon, a show which centers on a woman who was impregnated by Satan and gives birth to an Antichrist daughter, Christian Headlines (CH) reports. As of the morning of September 7, the petition had over 24,200 subscribers.
“Thirteen years after being impregnated by Satan, a reluctant mother and her Antichrist daughter attempt to live an ordinary life,” Disney describes its new adult cartoon series Little Demon. The show depicts graphic violence, nudity, and Satanic imagery.
Issuing an “urgent warning” to parents, OMM explains in a website statement that Little Demon is set in a spiritually demonic realm, and is dangerous viewing for children who may come across it. “Disney is introducing viewers, including children who might stumble across this series, to a world of demons, witches, and sorcery,” OMM said.
“It is evident that Disney is trying ‘to portray witchcraft as a positive tool to fight evil,’ OMM attests. “The first episode is more than enough for most Christian families to realize that Little Demon is an extremely dangerous series. Titled First Blood, this initial episode of the premiere season is currently streaming.” Quoting Little Demon series creator Seth Kirschner as telling reporters, “We are going to keep going for it until we are told no,” OMM implores in its statement: “Let us be sure they are told, ‘No!’ quickly!”
Little Demon is the latest Disney show to be set in the demonic realm: other such shows are Maleficent, Star vs. the Forces of Evil, and The Owl House.
