(Worthy News) – Disney is advancing the normalization of satanism and demonic interaction and activity through its distribution of a new animated series on FX called “Little Demon,” Church Leaders reports. Little Demon is streamed on Hulu and centers on the 13-year-old antiChrist daughter of a woman who was impregnated by Satan.
The show’s description explains: “13 years after being impregnated by Satan, a reluctant mother, Laura, and her Antichrist daughter, Chrissy, attempt to live an ordinary life in Delaware, but are constantly thwarted by monstrous forces, including Satan, who yearns for custody of his daughter’s soul.” The show is voiced by actors including Danny de Vito (who voices Satan) and Aubrey Plaza.
Church Leaders reports that in an interview Plaza, who voices the mother Laura, said she is glad that “we are normalizing paganism. Laura is a pagan. She’s a witch. She’s jacked. She’s got to protect her daughter from demons. And she’s got to get her house in order. And so the combination of that is really fun.”
Danny DeVito’s daughter Lucy DeVito voices Chrissy, Church Leaders reports. In a statement, Lucy said her favorite thing about the show is how “close to home you can take it and that like we were using it as like a metaphor for like real growing up. And I think that it’s really fun to like be all crazy and then, you know, take it down and sweet and sincere. So we were able to deal with both of those aspects of the character.”
Discussing why the central character is 13, the show’s creator Kieran Vallaying said in a statement: “We eventually found that 13 was like the best place to kind of center the story just because it was like the most thematically rich area to kind of go into.”
