Ex-President Trump Blames Clinton Of Treason After Spy Revelations

WASHINGTON (Worthy News) – Donald J. Trump accuses Hillary Clinton’s election campaign of “treason” after an investigator said her team tried to infiltrate the White House internet servers to link the former U.S. president to Russia and smear him.
U.S. Special Counsel John Durham made a court filing about the alleged hack and spying over the weekend, throwing cold water on the Democratic Party’s allegations of collusion.
“The latest pleading from Special Counsel (John) Durham proves indisputable evidence that my campaign and presidency were spied on by operatives paid by the Hillary Clinton campaign. In an effort to develop a completely fabricated connection to Russia,” Trump said.
“This is a scandal far greater in scope and magnitude than Watergate,” he added, referring to the break-in and spying scandal that brought down President Richard Nixon in the 1979s.
Trump spoke after Durham’s filings revealed how Hillary Clinton’s election campaign paid money to a tech firm to hack servers at Trump Tower and later the White House.
“Those who were involved in and knew about this [Clinton] spying operation should be subject to criminal prosecution,” Trump claimed in a statement monitored by Worthy News.
He added in furious remarks that in “a stronger period of time in our country, this crime would have been punishable by death. In addition, reparations should be paid to those in our country who have been damaged by this.”
Special Counsel Durham also filed a motion related to potential conflicts of interests in the case of Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann. The lawyer is charged with lying to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, several sources said.
Sussmann told the FBI he wasn’t working for Clinton when he showed documents allegedly linking the Trump Organization to a Kremlin-tied bank two months before the election.
However, records revealed that he “repeatedly billed the Clinton Campaign for his work on the Russian Bank-1 allegations,” Durham wrote.
The work involved an investigative firm, a tech executive, cyber researchers, and numerous employees at internet companies, the motion claimed.
The behavior described in the filings is akin to what Democrats accused Team Trump of doing since 2016, without providing any evidence to support their claims, critics said.
