(Worthy News) – Vaccinated tourists from the United States will be permitted to visit the European Union this summer, according to a European Commission official.
U.S. tourists who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 will be permitted to visit EU nations after more than a year of restricting nonessential travel due to the pandemic, the head of the bloc’s executive body told the New York Times on Sunday.
“The Americans, as far as I can see, use European Medicines Agency-approved vaccines,” Ursula von der Leyen, president of the European Commission, said Sunday in Brussels. “This will enable free movement and the travel to the European Union because one thing is clear: All 27 member states will accept, unconditionally, all those who are vaccinated with vaccines that are approved by EMA.” [ Source: Washington Examiner (Read More…) ]
