(Worthy News) – Syria’s oil ministry said on Saturday that firefighting teams managed to extinguish a fire in one of the tanks of an oil tanker off the oil terminal of Baniyas after a suspected drone attack from the direction of Lebanese territorial waters, state media reported.
The Hezbollah-affiliated Lebanese news outlet Al-Mayadeen reported that the tanker was attacked by Israeli aircraft.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a Syrian opposition group based in the UK, said that the tanker came from Iran. [ Source: Ynet News (Read More…) ]
