Democrats Start Removal President Trump

(Worthy News) – Congressional Democrats began their battle to force President Donald J. Trump from office after rioters last week stormed the US Capitol.
A controversial article of impeachment against Trump charges him with “incitement to insurrection” in connection to the violence around the building that houses Congress.
The vote on the articles expected as early as Wednesday could make Trump the only president in U.S. history to be impeached twice.
Democrats asked Vice-President Mike Pence to invoke the 25th Amendment of the Constitution to remove Trump as president of the United States.
If Pence fails to act, as was predicted, Democrats would begin impeachment proceedings.
President Trump had made no public statements since Friday when he was banned from several social media platforms.
He was due to leave office on January 20 when President-elect Joe Biden is inaugurated
Social network Parler, popular with Trump supporters, was forced offline after being dropped by Amazon.
Several people have been charged in connection with last week’s violence.
