End times, world war predictions of rabbis line up with implementation of ‘Deal of the Century’

(Worthy News) – Prophecies from rabbis about the coming of the Messiah and a third World War are coalescing with the timing of the implementation of the “Deal of the Century” peace plan this summer under a new Israeli unity government.

With Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and liberal rival Benny Gantz signing an agreement on Monday to rotate as Prime Minister over the course of three years, some Christian observers have noted that the unity agreement, which allows Israel to take back parts of Judea and Samaria and ushers in the process of creating a Palestinian state, begins July 1st–a month before a famous twentieth-century rabbi said World War III would begin.

“75 years after the second war will come the final and greatest war that will make the second seem even smaller,” the Rabbi Yisrael Meir once related to a disciple named Rabbi Levenstein during World War I, Breaking Israel News reports, pointing to August 14th, 2020 as the 75-year anniversary of the armistice that ended World War II in 1945.

Breaking Israel News also notes that the summer of 2020 corresponds to a sabbatical year prophesied about in the Talmud in which the “Gog-Magog” war of Ezekiel 38-39 and the revelation of the messiah would both occur.

“During the Sabbatical year, wars, e.g., the war of Gog and Magog, will be waged involving the Jewish people,” Talmud (Sanhedrin 97b) says. “During the year after the conclusion of the Sabbatical Year, the [messianic] son of David will come.”

Rabbi Pinchas Winston considered an end-times expert by Orthodox Jews, even claimed to Breaking Israel News that a messianic figure would be directly involved in the war itself.

“Moshiach is the cause of [the war]. He stands up for Jerusalem and they come after us because of it,” Rabbi Winston said.

Some Christian prophecy scholars understand from passages like Daniel 9:27 and Revelation 6:2 that a convincing messianic figure will wage a war that yields a peace deal for Israel with the surrounding nations.
