(Worthy News) – The year 2020 will see 13 full moons, two supermoons, and a blue moon in October around the same time as the US Presidential election.
A blue moon happens once every 32 months when a full moon rises twice in the same month, and this year will occur on Halloween–less than a week from the elections on Nov. 3–following the first full moon in October on Oct. 1.
A supermoon can appear as 14% larger and 30% brighter than a normal moon because of its proximity to earth, and the moon will appear in this form on March 9th and April 7th, 2020, though the next blood moon that believers are especially keen to see won’t appear until May 26, 2021.
