London Bridge Terrorist: I ‘Want to Live My Life as a Good Muslim and Also a Good Citizen of Britain’
(Worthy News) – After he was imprisoned in 2012 for taking part in a terrorist plot that sought to bomb the London stock exchange—and also had a list of targets that included the home of then-London mayor Boris Johnson and the U.S. embassy—Usman Khan wrote a letter saying that he had since discovered that “the views” he carried at the time “were not according to Islam and its teachings” and that he wanted to take a “Deradicalization Course” so he could live his life “as a good Muslim and also a good British citizen.”
The judge in Khan’s case originally stated that he should be permanently imprisoned. But he was let out of jail last December. In the terror attack he carried out near the London Bridge on Friday, he killed two people and wounded others. [ Source: CNS News (Read More…) ]
