(Worthy News) – Germany is slated to designate Hezbollah as a terrorist group.
Major German newspaper Der Spiegel reported that the interior, foreign, and justice ministries are working together to place the same stigma on the group borne by the Islamic State.
The move would ban all activities of the Lebanese militia, widely seen as an Iran proxy, in Germany, even preventing supporters from waving its yellow flag.
The US has urged all EU members to see Hezbollah as a terrorist group, though so far only the UK and the Netherlands have followed suit.
