Underground church growing, Islam dying, inside Iran

(Worthy News) – A new documentary claims the “fastest-growing church” in the world is sprouting up in the unexpected soil of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
“Sheep Among Wolves Volume II,” directed by Dalton Thomas for Frontier Alliance International Studios, interviews anonymous believers experiencing a country-wide revival in the aftermath of the Islamic revolution 40 years ago.
“What if I told you Islam is dead? What if I told you the mosques are empty inside of Iran? What if I told you no one follows Islam inside of Iran?” claims one believer.
Another believer claims that since the Ayatollahs took over 40 years ago, 130,000 to 140,000 people have been executed by the regime—the main selling point for Christianity.
“What if I told you the best evangelist for Jesus was the Ayatollah Khomeini? The ayatollahs brought the true face of Islam to light and people discovered it was a lie,” an Iranian pastor explains.
The film reports that the remarkable growth of the church in Iran has been all through underground channels, with “no property, no buildings, no central leadership.”
