San Diego area pastor says ‘no doubt’ church graffiti connected to his opposition to Drag Queen Story Hour

(Worthy News) – A pastor near San Diego is claiming satanic graffiti spray-painted on his church is tied to his outspoken opposition to “Drag Queen Story Hour.”
Pastor Amada Huizar of South Bay Pentecostal Church in Chula Vista said surveillance cameras caught two men in backpacks coming out of a car near the church at 3 a.m. Sunday and leaving shortly after with spray cans in their hands.
“We’ve stood up the last several weeks to share our concern,” Huizar told NBC 7 Sand Diego of the event, which is slated to take place at the Chula Vista Private Library Civic Center Branch on September 10th. “We feel that maybe, perhaps, those two are connected.”
Huizar said the vandalism itself included “phrases, hateful words, and graffiti” of satanic symbols plastered on the walls of the church, which South Bay Alliance, the group hosting the event, disclaimed.
“It has no place in any political dialogue. I sincerely hope it was not in response to their position on the storytime, but if it was, it is extremely inappropriate,” it said in a statement.
Drag Queen Story Hour has been sweeping across local libraries in the UK and America and proposes to “capture…the imagination and play of the gender fluidity of childhood” so as to “imagine a world where people can present as they wish,” according to its website.
