IDF says attacked over 200 targets, launched 800 missiles in Syria this year

(Worthy News) – Israel’s Defense Forces have carried out more than 200 airstrikes in Syria over the last year, many of which Israel claimed were targeting Iranian positions and weapons convoys, the IDF stated on Tuesday.
Israel has fired more than 800 missiles and mortar shells at targets in Syrian territory over the last year and a half, according to the statement.
Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman, while speaking at a press conference on Monday, stated that Israel would “contend with the Iranian threat” wherever it presents itself, likely referring to a recent report from Reuters of suspected Iranian missiles transferred to Iraq. [ Source: i24 (Read More…) ]
