Israel signs deal for precision rockets capable of hitting ‘anywhere in Mideast’

(Worthy News) – Israel’s Defense Ministry announced on Sunday that it signed deal to purchased a new array of advanced surface-to-surface rockets that have the capability and range to reach “anywhere in the Middle East”.
The deal, valued at several hundred million shekels, will arm the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) with new short and long-range precision missiles that can hit targets between 30 and 150 kilometers (18 to 93 miles) away, according to the defense ministry.
“We are acquiring and developing precision fire systems that will enable the IDF… within a few years to cover anywhere in the region,” Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman said of the acquisition. [ Source: i24 (Read More…) ]
