Hurricane Lane Drenches Hawaii: Flooding, Mudslides Reported on Big Island and Maui

(Worthy News) – Hurricane Lane continued to hammer Hawaii with torrential rainfall, strong winds and high surf on Thursday.
Nearly 20 inches of rain fell in 24 hours on the Big Island of Hawaii, which was the first to feel the impacts of the storm. As of Thursday evening, there were no reports of wind damage.
Officials activated emergency siren systems on Honolulu and Oahu Thursday afternoon because of the hurricane warnings. [ Source: Weather (Read More…) ]
