GARDEN GROVE, CA (ANS) – The weekly five-minute “Window on the World” radio show, produced by ASSIST Ministries of Garden Grove, California, can now be heard on the worldwide web at www.assist-ministries.com.
Dan Wooding the founder and president of ASSIST Ministries explained that the five-minute show is already carried on the Calvary Satellite Network in the United States, numerous Radio Rhema stations in Australia, the Pacific Partners station in Tonga, and UCB Europe, based in the UK.
“We are now hoping that many more listeners will ‘tune in’ via the web,” said Wooding, a veteran journalist of 33 years.
“Each program carries news from around the world about missions and the persecuted church,” said Wooding, who has been a journalist now for 33 years. “We have put eight of our most recent programs on our website and they cover stories from Myanmar (Burma), Indonesia, all of Southeast Asia, India, Uganda, Bethlehem, alcohol and drug addiction in the USA and a home for AIDS babies in Thailand.”
The “Window on the World” is co-hosted by Dan Wooding, Bruce Sonnenberg, a pastor from Southern California, and Mark Ellis, also a pastor and the senior correspondent for the ASSIST News Service.
Besides the “Window on the World” radio program, each week Wooding conducts interviews, or provides news, on the Persecuted Church on “The Breakfast Scramble” on Radio Rhema, New Zealand, “Straight Talk New Zealand,” also on Radio Rhema, “The Dick Staub Show” on KGNW, Seattle, the Skylight Satellite Network in Minneapolis, Minnesota, “Talk Back with Tom Marsland” on KKMS, Minneapolis, and KWVE in San Clemente, California.
