(Worthy News)– A major earthquake has hit Nepal near the Chinese border between the capital of Kathmandu and Mount Everest less than three weeks after the country was devastated by a quake, the Times of Israel reported.
The US Geological Survey said the quake hit with a magnitude of 7.3 in an isolated, conservation area just after lunch Tuesday.
Th earthquake killed at least four in the Nepalese town of Chautara. There was no initial word on casualties in other areas.
It comes after an earthquake on April 25 killed more than 8,150 people and injured more than 17,860 as it flattened mountain villages and destroyed buildings. –[wp_colorbox_media url=”http://www.timesofisrael.com/new-7-4-magnitude-earthquake-rocks-nepal/” type=”iframe” hyperlink=”Source”]
